ABOUT MEGHAN

Meghan Daum is the author of seven books, most recently The Catastrophe Hour, and is the host of the weekly interview podcast, The Unspeakable (soon to be renamed The Unspeakeasy). She was a longtime Los Angeles Times opinion columnist, has received fellowships from The Guggenheim Foundation and the NEA, and has contributed to The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and Vogue, among other publications.

In 2022, Meghan founded The Unspeakeasy, a multifaceted platform devoted to fostering open dialogue and viewpoint diversity through online communities and in-person retreats. She lives in Los Angeles and sometimes New York City.
