February 9th I'm going back to the prairie. My fave place in the world.

Teaching a master class for the University of Iowa nonfiction writing program. Then reading at Prairie Lights Books at 7:00pm.

Quite apart from your writing, I love this photograph.. do you take them, or are they from someone else. Looks like a HDR shot and I love it.

I'm hoping to at least meet you when you come to Iowa City this week. Your mother and I walked to school together every day for years, and I haven't seen you in person since your family rode the train into New York City with our family when you were around 8.
